Electronic device and method for displaying screen thereof

An electronic device according to various embodiments of the present invention includes: a display; a memory; and at least one processor electrically connected to the display and the memory. When the at least one processor is executed, the memory includes instructions to display a first screen generated by a first application on the display, to provide attribute information of at least one object included in the first screen to a second application in response to the sensing of a screen switching event to display a second screen generated by the second application, and to display the second screen on the display by generating the second screen including the at least one object based on the attribute information by the second application. Accordingly, the present invention can provide a background screen which is continuously changed.
