The Chemical Characteristics and Evaluation of Water Environment in Xiangshan Harbor of the East China Sea

2012
The main pollutions of Xiangshan Harbor were inorganic nitrogen and inorganic phosphorus. The annual average value of inorganic nitrogen was 0.594 mg.dm-3, the lowest value was in spring (0.194 mg.dm-3), and the highest was in winter (2.212 mg.dm-3). The annual changing trend of inorganic nitrogen was winter>autumn>summer>spring. The overall level of chemical oxygen demand was not high, the content of the dissolved oxygen was higher, and the reoxygenation condition was better. The nutrients in Xiangshan Harbor severely exceeded the standard. The water quality in the breed area was overall beyond IV water quality standard, and most of the water quality in Xiangshan Harbor beyond IV water quality standard.
