Modified peanut shell cationic adsorbent, preparation method and application

2012
The present invention discloses a cationic modified peanut shell adsorbent, preparation method and application. The adsorbent employed peanut shells, epichlorohydrin, N, N- dimethylformamide and triethylene tetramine as raw materials. The modified cationic adsorbent peanut shell powder form, brown, Zeta potential between 31-52mv. The present process is simple, low cost of raw materials, large quantity of adsorption, the adsorbent can be regenerated adsorbent after adsorption saturation may be directly incineration. Peanut shells modified by the present invention is a cationic adsorbent for removing anions from wastewater, particularly high adsorption of Cr (VI) ions.
