Selection and Analysis of Odor Collection System in Sewage Treatment Plant

The most basic meaning of construction,operation and management of a sewage treatment plant is to protect environment.However,due to the large amounts of gaseous pollutants associated in the operation of sewage treatment plant,which causes great influence on the surrounding environment and human health,more and more attention is paid by people.Many domestic sewage treatment plants have built deodorization projects,but the improper collection system and improper material selection lead to the inconvenient in operation and management or no good deodorization effect.Odor collection system was studied by investigating the deodorization systems in five WWTPs in Wuhan,Guangzhou and other cities and comparing materials for odor collection pipes.The selection of cover types of different structures and equipment types was introduced.The study was to emphasize solving the contradiction between the second pollution caused by the odor in sewage treatment plant and environmental protection,the contradiction between the improper sealing way of deodorization system and the inconvenience in operation and management,and the contradiction between the improper material selection and the inefficient deodorization performance.
