Colorectal polypectomy is a well-recognized method for the prevention of colorectal cancer (CRC) through the early interruption of the adenoma-carcinoma sequence. However, despite proven effectiveness, polyp resection techniques are limited by lack of evidence and are mainly based on expert opinion and uncontrolled observational studies.
