Dynamics of mixed valent Europium and Samarium systems

For mixed valent Europium and Samarium systems dynamical magnetic and charge susceptibilities are calculated at temperatures above their fluctuation temperature using Mori's formalism. The low-lying spin-orbit excited level of the 4f 6 -configuration leads to additional relaxation modes and to conspicuous temperature effects.
