Underground magneto fluid detector and its application in mine flood detection

Mine water disaster is a common disaster in the exploitation of mineral resources. If an accident occurs, it not only affect the production which will cause economic losses, but also is prone to major accidents. In this paper we use a self- developed detector, i. e. underground magneto fluid detector to solve mine area's water disaster. Underground magneto fluid detector is one that receives the electromagnetic wave which launches from the earth's internal to the surface by the detector's probes,extracts the dynamic information of groundwater and cracks information using analysis of modern signal processing techniques. It has effectively solved the problem of the hydraulic mining area faults,the old area of detection, qualitative and quantitative analysis. The detector's structure, principle and its application in mine detection are emphatically introduced in this paper. Its validity and reliability are proved in prevention and control of water disaster in Leiyang Qianjin Coal Mine, Hunan Province.
