Method of propylene ethylene transformation

2004
This invention relates to a method of tranformation of propylene with ethylene, wherein ethylene is reacted with a supported metal compound comprising a support based on aluminum oxide support on which is grafted a tungsten hydride . The reaction may be conducted between 20 and 600 ° C, preferably between 50 and 350 ° C, under an absolute pressure of between 0.01 and 8 MPa, preferably 0.01 to 1 MPa. The catalyst may be regenerated by admission of hydrogen at a temperature between 50 and 300 ° C.
