Primary energy sources and greenhouse effect. In the frame of the diminution of fossil energy and climate change, the two most difficult demands to satisfy are providing electricity to megalopolises and fuels for transportation. Renewable energies have to be promoted but will not be able to replace fossil fuels in their current uses before several decades.
