High-dynamic adaptive geographic routing protocol based on topology for Smart Clusters

2021
In order to decrease the influence of inaccurate topology and outdated information of destination node, a type of topology based adaptive geographic routing protocol called T-AGR (Topology Based Adaptive Geographic Routing) is proposed. It stipulates that whether the beaconing should be sending or not is determined by its traffic demands, and the beaconing interval also should be updated according to the topology changes and the relative moving speed between nodes. Furthermore, our route optimization scheme can help nodes choose the optimal path according to topology changes and actual data traffic requirements. Finally, our adaptive parameter setting scheme allows each node to adjust the parameters according to different network environments, data traffic loads and its own states. All in all, T-AGR not only improve the efficiency of data transmission and decrease the control overhead, but also ensure the protocol works efficiently and robustly at the situation of destination position inaccuracies.
