Erschliessungskonzepte zur Erdwärmenutzung aus gering-permeablen Sedimentgesteinen

2005
Concepts for the extraction of direct heat from tight sedimentary rocks are the subject of research in the GeneSys project, which aims to provide a geothermal heat supply to the GEOCENTER Hannover Intention is also to show that a geothermal supply of direct heat is also feasible at locations with normal geological/geothermal conditions using artificially created geothermal systems. Relevant methods and concepts were experimentally tested from autumn 2003 on in an abandoned gas well. During the massive stimulation tests carried out, approximately 20.000 m 3 of filtered freshwater were injected at rates of up to 50l/s. Analysis reveals that the created fracture covers a large area and has a high hydraulic transmissivity. The favourable hydraulic properties are also maintained at pressures well below the fracture propagation pressure. The feasibility of two innovative concepts for the geothermal use of low permeable rocks was shown. Based on the results obtained at the test site, a concept for the supply of geothermal heat will be developed for the site "GeoZentrum Hannover".
