I am going to talk about the challenges in the corporate sector of the world and of Pakistan. The theme I have chosen is 'Management Challenges of the 21st Century: Global and Local Trends'. I will dilate on some of the major management trends of the 21st century. There are dozens of developments impacting business, including social, demographic, market-driven technological, competition-driven, and resourcebased developments. I will cover mainly eight or ten major trends and how they impact business in Pakistan.
