Self-propagating High Temperature Synthesis of Anti-high Temperature Oxidation Powder Mo(Si,Al)_2

This paper mainly researched the influence factors of Self-propagating high temperature synthesis (SHS) process and the difference of phase with different additional aluminium. The results shows that it is possible to synthesize Mo(Si,Al)2 by SHS process at room temperature and it is beneficial for SHS process of Mo(Si, Al)2 when the size of reaction raw material reduced;The product will transform completely to the phase of C40 When addition ratio of aluminium is x=0.3 ; The best addition of aluminium is x=0.4, and then, the phase of product is Mo(Si0.6,Al0.4)2.
