Etude comparative de la valeur nutritionnelle des cystes de deux souches d’Artemia sur des larves de Sander lucioperca (Linnaeus, 1758) en elevage : performances de croissance et survie

2013
This study was conducted to compare the nutritive value of two strains of Artemia; the first originating from the salt works of Sfax (Tunisia), the second an imported strain (EG). The two strains were offered to three replicate groups of 1600 larvae of the sander (or pike-perch), Sander lucioperca (age 10 days, mean weight 3.0 mg) per tank. The larvae were hand-fed every hour from 08:00 to 20:00 h for 30 days. Results show that larvae fed on Artemia originating from the salt works of Sfax showed a significantly ( P 0 . 05 ) was detected on survival rates among the two batches fed on the two strains of Artemia.
