Por qué y para qué el pensamiento complejo

The world evolves, as does scientific and technological development, which means that problems in all areas are increasingly complex: complexity is present even in everyday situations. However, the logical, linear and traditional thinking that education structures does not facilitate the understanding of uncertainties, contradictions and hazards, which respond to different factors. Despite the intention to understand these phenomena, there are wide deficiencies, perhaps due to lack of knowledge or cognitive abilities. This encourages the development of a broader and more flexible thinking that encompasses the different dimensions in which the problems are established and accepts that their resolution requires going beyond disciplines. Complex thinking, the characteristics of which are outlined here, is a good option.
