A correlation study of behavioral and neural decoding performance for roughness discrimination
2014
• Behavioural data analysis Considered the roughness intensity of a left-side abrasive paper on a stimulus plate as a reference value (i.e. 100%) Roughness intensity of a right-side abrasive paper differed from the reference value by 11 different levels of relative stimuli, from 50% to 150%. Discrimination sensitivity (JND) was measured as the difference of roughness values between the 25 and 75 percentile of a fitted psychometric function.
