The invention relates to a haemophilus parasuis aroA gene suicide vector and a construction method thereof, belonging to the field of animal disease prevention and control. The haemophilus parasuis aroA gene suicide vector comprises a backbone vector and a mutant aroA gene, wherein the backbone vector comprises a condition replication origin, an antibiotic resistance selection site and a multiple cloning site; the mutant AroA gene is inserted in the multiple cloning site; the condition replication origin refers to an original sequence which enables the suicide vector not to be self-replicated in the haemophilus parasuis; the mutant aroA gene indicates that an antibiotic expression box is inserted into an aroA gene sequence, and the antibiotic expression box and the antibiotic resistance selection site respectively aim at different antibiotic selection gene sites. The suicide vector can be used for selecting attenuated haemophilus parasuis strains of aroA gene mutation.
