Tongji University Implements the System of Separating the Work of the Party from Administration

Tongji University in Shanghai has changed its previous practice of discussing everything, big or small, at working meetings of the Party committee secretary and the president. Instead it is implementing the system of separating Party and administrative work. The long overdue command system of the president taking the lead in university affairs has finally taken shape.
