Study on the effect of resveratrol on alcoholic fatty liver in rats and its mechanism
2016
OBJECTIVE To observe the effect of resveratrol on alcoholic fatty liver in rats and to explore the relative mechanism.METHODS Alcoholic fatty liver model was established by inducation with liquor gavage, and resveratrol( 50,125,250 mg·kg- 1)intervention was given. After nine weeks, the contents of γ- glutamyl transpeptidase( γ- GT) index in the serum, activities of total superoxide dismutase( T- SOD), the level of malondialdehyde( MDA) and glutathione( GSH) were determined in the liver homogenate. RESULTS Compared with model groups, the contents of γ- GT and MDA were remarkably reduced in resveratrol treatment groups, meanwhile the activities of T- SOD and the level of GSH were increased( P < 0. 05). CONCLUSION Resveratrol has effccts on redueation of γ- GT and antioxidation, and can protect liver cells and improve the alcoholic fatty liver by alcohol induced.
