Uma aproximação teórica entre os postulados do ideal de sustentabilidade e a Sociologia das Ausências de Boaventura Sousa Santos

In view of the complexity of actions and interrelat ions between authors aimed at the achievement of ideal sustainability, i t's important to question whether it is possible to think about it i n societies under development, such as the Brazilian, based on intell ectual technologies available, or, do we need to seek an epistemologica l alternative to overcome the dominant way of thinking scientificall y about social relations? The purpose of this article is to establ ish a theoretical approach between the assumptions of sustainability and the Sociology of Absences by Boaventura Sousa Santos. Relying on account of some social experiences, in the third section we will hi ghlight the possibilities of constructing the proposed dialogue . We conclude by making some provisional considerations related to t he continuity of the discussion initiated herein to take into account, t his time, the Sociology of Absences and Translation Work , parts that comprise the model of sociological literature of the societies under deve lopment practiced by Santos
