THE MODELLING OF DIFFUSIVE TUMOURS

The mathematical modelling of diffusive tumours is investigated. We argue that diffusive tumours can be modelled by adding diffusion to simple multipopulation solid tumour models, such as the Lotka-Volterra competition and Jansson-Revesz models. As a specific example a clinical case study of a diffusive brain tumour is considered.
