Analysis of Characteristics of Body Morphology and Achievement Model of World Men's Excellent 400 m Runners

2004
The average maximum speed of the world men's excellent 400 m runners appears in the section from 50 m to 150 m, the obvious slow-down happens in the place of 300 m, in the section from 300 m to 350 m the stride lengths of almost all the runners are shortened to the shortest extent, which are a bit longer during the finish of the race, and the stride frequencies of most runners are increased to the highest level in the section from 50 m to 100 m, and then decrease step by step. The correlation between stride length and stride frequency is negative, while that between age and stride length is positive. The maximum speed and speed endurance determine 400 m race to a great extent.
