Experience in treating logopedics patients by mesodiencephalic modulation

: Mesodiencephalic modulation (MDM), transcranial exposure of the middle brain structures to electric signal, selectively activates central regulatory systems. MDM has been introduced into the practice of the Center for Hearing and Speech Disorders. A course of treatment on the MDM-1 unit was performed in 665 patients. Irrespective of the symptoms and the disease, 6-7 procedures resulted in improvement. 5% of cases improved significantly 1-2 weeks after the end of the treatment, 17 patients (2.7%) required a repeated course 2-3 months after the initial treatment.
