Analysis on Prophylactic Application of Antibiotics in 610 Patients with Type I Incision Operation

2010
OBJECTIVE:To investigate prophylactic application of antibiotics in patients with typeⅠincision operation, and to promote rational use of drugs. METHODS: Prophylactic application of antibiotics in patients with typeⅠincision operation from Jul. to Dec. in 2008 was investigated retrospectively. RESULTS: Among 610 patients, 438 patients received antibiotic injection (71.80%). The utilizations of antibiotics were 8.90% (39 cases), 21.23% (93 cases), 13.93% (61 cases)0.5~2 h, 2~48 h and more than 48 h before surgery; 55.94%(245 cases)were given antibiotics after surgery in the initial delivery time. 14.84%(65 cases)and 62.10%(272 cases)were given antibiotics below 48 h and 3~7 day after operation. After surgery, signal drug consisted of 75.34%, two-drug 23.74% and three-drug 0.91%. CONCLUSION:Clinical management of rational use of antibiotics must be enhanced because prophylactic application of antibiotics had unreasonable aspects, such as indications, prophylactic medication time, postoperative medication time.
