Powdery material for cosmetic use, and cosmetic material containing the same

PURPOSE: To obtain a new powdery material for cosmetic use, excellent in water repellency and oil repellency, having a good smooth touch feeling at the time of applying to the skin, and good in adhering property by easily performing the surface treatment of the powdery material by using a specified compound having a perfluoropolyether group. CONSTITUTION: This powdery material for cosmetic use is obtained by easily performing the surface treatment of the base material of the powdery material by a compound having a perfluoroalkylether group, having ≥300 molecular weight and selected from a perfluoropolyetheralkyl phosphoric acid, salts thereof, a perfluoropolyetheralkyl sulfuric acid, salts thereof, a perfluoropolyetheralkyl carboxylic acid and salts thereof. The above mentioned perfluoropolyether group is a group of formula I or II [(m/n)=1-100; (a) is 1-10; X is F or CF 3 ]. Further, the compound having the above mentioned perfluoropolyether group is any of the compounds of formulae III, IV and V [(d) is 0-2; (q) is 1, 2; (r) is 1-2]. It is preferable to perform the surface treatment by using 1-50 wt.% compound having the perfluroropolyether group based on the base material of the powdery material. COPYRIGHT: (C)1996,JPO
