Development of Methods to Improve the Efficiency of Information Transmission in Mobile Video Streaming Systems

Currently, mobile video streaming systems are widely used for receiving confidential information, the transmission of which requires a secure connection. The problematic situation is that the existing implementations of a stable secure channel are either complex and unavailable or resource-intensive and insufficiently protect the transmitted information. This paper formalized a method for increasing the efficiency of information transmission in mobile streaming video systems. An information transmission algorithm has been developed, which protects against attacks such as Dos, packet retry and substitution, thereby increasing the reliability of the connection. The developed information transfer algorithm supports well-known encryption standards, thereby ensuring the reliability of the connection. Formed technical requirements do not impose significant hardware and software restrictions, which expands the range of potentially used devices. Based on the developed algorithm, which provides an increase in the quality of information transmission in mobile tracking systems, the software has been implemented and a prototype of the information transmission system has been created. An experimental study of the quality of information transmission in a connection with limited bandwidth has shown that the permissible percentage of packet loss in the developed system is 2% higher compared to existing analogs while ensuring a high-quality display of video information.
