Estonia in the Context of Wild Food Plants

2016
The country presently known as Estonia is one of the three Baltic States situated in north-eastern part of Europe, bordering with Russia, Latvia and through the sea with Finland and Sweden. Now independent country, it was in the past divided between or within different Empires. The most recent division, existing until 1918, was between two provinces of Russia (Estonia and Livonia); part of the latter now belongs to Latvia. Also a small area of the territory of present Estonia (Narva and its surroundings) belonged to the St Petersburg province.
