The invention discloses an insulation layer of a glass fiber-reinforced plastic capacitive transformer bushing. The insulation layer comprises the following raw materials in parts by weight: 100 parts of epoxy resin, 75-80 parts of a curing agent, 0.6-1 part of a accelerant, 5-15 parts of an epoxy resin active toughening agent, 0-3 parts of a silane coupling agent KH-560, 3-10 parts of a filler, namely aluminum hydroxide hydrate and 0.3-1 part of white carbon black. The glass fiber-reinforced plastic capacitive transformer bushing adopts a glass fiber-reinforced plastic composite material as internal insulation and a silicone rubber composite material as external insulation; compared with traditional ceramic bushings, the bushing disclosed by the invention has the advantages of low mass and high strength; in addition, the bushing adopts glass fiber winding and an optimized mechanical layer lay-up design, therefore, the bushing is excellent in mechanical property and particularly suitable for serious earthquake areas.
