CROSS-SECTIONAL INVESTIGATION OF THE PREVENTION AND HEALTH CARE WORKERS IN THE PRIMARY DISEASE CONTROL AND PREVENTION UNITS IN REMOTE NATIONAL RURAL AREA

[Objective] To learn the current situation of the human resource in the primary disease control and prevention units in remote national rural area and provide scientific evidence for the optimization of human resource. [Methods] Randomly selected 48 townships agencies from 12 countries in Baise. Survey was carried on to collect information and date was carried out by using SPSS13.0 software. [Results] The number of the professional staff in the primary disease control and prevention units was 0.45 per ten thousands people. 67.85% of them had secondary education or under. No one had senior professional title, 58.67% of them had only primary professional title, the proportion of without professional title was 27.55%. 19.39% of them had only preventive medicine specialty knowledge. 17.86% of them had only public health doctors’ qualifications to practice physician, but the proportion of without doctors’ qualifications to practice physician was 21.43%. [Conclusion] The quantity of prevention and health care workers, preventive medicine professional personnel and public health doctors’ qualifications to practice physician personnel are less. The education degree and professional title are relative low. It is necessary to implement the prevention and health personnel posts, make talent training plan, make technical title evaluating standard and method only used in rural areas, vigorously introduce the talents of preventive medicine specialty knowledge, strengthen prevention and health care service according to law.
