The invention discloses a high-reliability fault-tolerant control device for an industrial robot, which comprises a computer, an actuator, a PLC (Programmable Logic Controller) and a machine body base, wherein the machine body base is mounted on one side of the computer; the actuator is mounted on the machine body base; the PLC is mounted on the actuator; an equipment state predictor is mounted in the PLC; a fault diagnosis device is mounted on one side of the equipment state predictor; a fault-tolerant controller is mounted on one side of the fault diagnosis device; a CPU (Central Processing Unit) is mounted on one side of the fault-tolerant controller; a first rotator is mounted on the machine body base; a fixed bracket is mounted on the first rotator; a first operation rod is mounted on the fixed bracket; a second rotator is mounted on the first operation rod; and a second operation rod is mounted on the second rotator. The high-reliability fault-tolerant control device adopts the PLC, has a fault-tolerant control function and can improve the reliability of equipment.
