The effects of drought on groundwater levels drop (Case Study Kerman plain)

2016
Rainfall is one of data that is in studying and estimating drought and studying water resources. This case study is caculated in Kerman plain – baghin with geographical coordinates 56 degree 30 minutes east longitude, and 26 degree 50 minutes north latitude and with an area of 5420 Km of the 2716 Km a latitude and 2701 square Kilometers. Spss software is used for statistical analysis and Gis software is used to draw maps and characteristics of meteropological drought of under ground water. To analyse meteropological drought SPI index and precipitation data from 8 meteropological station of kerman is used and 20 wells and water table in this 6 time from piezometric data is used to calculate SWI. Statistical in period for meteropological station from 1365 to march of 1393 is selected and for estimating water table level of underground water rain year of september 1381 to the end of october 1393 is selected. Characteristics of drought and rain in each index obtained and the results, using dry year is determined. The correlation between these two parameters measured during 13 years is calculated and it is found that meterological drought had in fluence on water table level and the best correlation between them -0.802, with 6 months delay in significant level of 1 percent has occurred.
