Selection of combustion apparatus for low volatile coal fired power boiler

The difficulty of ignition and burn-out of low volatile coal are priority topics for design and selection of combustion apparatus.The characteristics of ignition and burn-out of low volatile coal was analyzed.The technical measures of ignition and burn-out were discussed.The adaptability of internal tangential firing,wall firing and double-arch firing boilers to low volatile coal were researched.The statistical analysis of main design parameters of internal tangential firing,wall firing and double arch firing boilers with low volatile coal were carried out.The recommended thermodynamic characteristic parameters of furnaces were presented.The suitable combustion system and boiler types with different low volatile coal were recommended to solve the problem of matching of boiler types and combustion.
