Discrepancy between Normotest and Thrombotest during Thromboplastin Induced Intravascular Coagulation in Rabbits

During thromboplastin-induced intravascular coagulation in rabbits, the Thrombotest values were markedly lowered, whereas Normotest was only moderately affected. Some possible mechanisms for this discrepancy are briefly discussed.
