Stunting or short children is a chronic malnutrition problem caused by insufficient nutritional intake for a long time due to feeding that is not in accordance with nutritional needs. Stunting occurs when the fetus is still in the womb and is seen when the child is two years old. The prevalence of stunting in the province of Yogyakarta is still quite high when compared to Indonesia Basic Health Survey (Riskesdas) 2013 (8.2%). One of the districts in the Special Region of Yogyakarta that is the priority district for stunting intervention is Bantul Regency. The purpose of this activity is to increase the knowledge and skills of village youth in readiness to carry out the first 1000 days of life (HPK) as an effort to prevent stunting. Educational activities with a workshop approach have been carried out in the Karangtaruna group at the Garon village of Panggungharjo as many as 19 people and 5 assistants from the Youth Family Development group (BKR). Workshop activities are carried out using extension methods, group discussion, and case studies. Participants were very enthusiastic about participating in this activity from beginning to end. Target group's knowledge of health topics also increased before and after the intervention.
