Factors Affecting the Quality of Clinical Practice of Five-Year Program Medical Graduates and Countermeasures

2005
Clinical practice is a key step to achieve the educational goal for medical graduates. However, in the present situation quite a few factors exert influence on it, including such social factors as medical disputes, influence of teachers’ utilitarianism, teaching level and concept, and students’ neglect resulting from their one-sided and utilitarian pursuit of just a diploma and job. We believe that deepening educational reform and strengthening systematic construction of education are crucial to improving the quality of clinical practice of five-year medical graduates. In short, we should improve management system, strengthen quality control, construct a high-quality teaching contingent by improving teaching and strengthening teaching consciousness, and make full use of modern means of instruction and teaching resources.
