Outdoor unit light aircraft (2), comprising: a mounting structure (4), an LED (18) disposed in the mounting structure (4), and an optical system (6) disposed in the mounting structure ( 4) to create a distribution of light emission output of the outdoor unit light aircraft (2), wherein the optical system (6) comprises, in a first cross-sectional plane extending through the LED (18) : a first concave reflector (8) and a second concave reflector (10), each of the first and second concave reflectors (8, 10) a proximal end positioned adjacent the mounting structure (4) and a distal end positioned removed from the mounting structure (4), with the first and second concave reflectors (8, 10) being disposed on opposite sides of the LED (18) in the first cross sectional plane, and one refractive optical element (16) disposed between the first and second optical reflectors (8, 10) in the first plane is cross ction, wherein the first concave reflector (8), the second concave reflector (10) and refractive optical element (16) are optical elements separated in the first cross sectional plane, and wherein the distal ends of both the first and second concave reflector (8, 10) have tapered shapes back, with the first and second concave reflectors (8, 10) being bent towards each other at their distal ends, wherein a distance between the proximal ends of the first and second concave reflectors ( 8, 10) is smaller than a distance between the distal ends of the first and second concave reflectors (8, 10), which in turn is less than a distance between respective intermediate portions of the first and second concave reflectors (8, 10 ) in the first cross sectional plane.
