Convective stability of a binary mixture in a fractured porous medium

The effect of the gravity field and the concentration and thermal gradients on the convective stability of a mixture in a nonhomogeneous porous medium containing a system of thin highly permeable fractures separating relatively impermeable blocks is analyzed.
