ANEURYSM OF AN ANOMALOUS PANCREATICODUODENAL ARTERY Case Report and Review of the Literature

ANEURYSMS of intra-abdominal vessels other than the aorta are rare surgical lesions. The hepatic artery or its branches has been the site of these aneurysms in 85 cases collected by Malloy and Janson 1 in 1942, and since that time nine cases have been added. 2 It is the object of this report to present such a lesion discovered at operation and proved to arise from an anomalous pancreaticoduodenal artery at autopsy. We will also briefly review pertinent points from the literature. REPORT OF A CASE C.
