Economy concentration and development of peripheral counties in Xi′an urban area under the effect of aglomeration

Aim To probe into the relationship between economy concentration and the regional development,explore the most important reason for regional disparity and differentiation.Methods Make an analysis based on theory and regional comparison and the analysis of the influence of midtown on the peripheral hinterland based on the example of Xi′an.Results The development of secondary industry as economy concentration is an effective method for regional development and will provide a lot of opportunities for the development of the perpheral districts.Conclusion There is much room for the agglomeration of cifies and the industries have begun to transfer to the perihperal regions.The urban cities should absorb the transfered industies in their development and discuss how to develop the industries with special features.
