The length of intercensal periods and the extent of omissions in migration data from censuses

Some problems concerning the measurement of migration using data from two successive censuses are illustrated based on data from Norway. The focus is on alternative ways to obtain migration data that include multiple migrations in intercensal periods. (ANNOTATION)
