Antipyretic and analgesic studies on the diacetate of a new triterpenic acid isolated from Corchorus depressus L

Abstract Antipyretic and analgesic (non-narcotic) properties were found in the 2,3-diacetate of 2α,3β,20β-urs-Δ 12 -ene-23β-28-dioic acid, a new triterpenic acid isolated from Corchorus depressus L. (Tiliaceae).
