Unusual fishery for oil sardines along the West Saurashtra Coast

The paper discuss about the unusual landing pattern of oil sardine along the Saurashtra coast during 1986-87 period. The reason assumed for this heavy landing was the migrating behavior of oil sardine during the winter season, suggesting the need of well planned study along the coast.
