Tornier Aequalis Ascend™ Flex Convertible Shoulder System

The Tornier Aequalis Ascend Flex Convertible Shoulder System improves upon the traditional Grammont-style reverse total shoulder. The new system provides a short stem designed to match the internal geometry of the proximal humerus providing metaphyseal press-fit. The Ascend Flex system provides three-dimensional flexibility and improves range of motion, while decreasing scapular impingement. The system allows easy convertibility from an anatomic to reverse total shoulder and provides additional glenoid baseplate options including a new threaded baseplate.
