Bluetooth technology is then described, looking at piconets, error detection, and profiles. A review of GPS features are presented, with focus on data formats, transmission time, and navigation. The authors then examine critical issues that arise when a GPS receiver is combined with Bluetooth. Areas of discussion include power, noise, sensitivity, data transfer, latency concerns.
