Low insertion loss hybrid plasmonic TE-pass polarizer

We experimentally demonstrated a TE-pass polarizer based on the hybrid plasmonic waveguide. The TM mode is coupled and attenuated in an asymmetric coupling section. The device has a high extinction ratio and ultra-low insertion loss.
