THE COORDINATING POWER OF OXIME, OXIMATO AND O-METHYLOXIME DONOR GROUPS- THE STABILITY OF COPPER(II) COMPLEXES

The relative donor powers of oxime and O-methyloxime groups have been assessed from the stability of their coordination complexes with copper(II). The order of donor strengths observed is oximato >> oxime > O-methyloxime.
