Teaching Practice of Machine Intelligence

Machine Intelligence is one of the kernel lectures in the Intelligence Science and Technology direction for undergraduates.It's new in content and covers a large scope of knowledge.Based on the teaching practice of Machine Intelligence in Beijing University of Posts and Telecom.,this article presented a teaching method called from point to area,which focuses on the key point firstly,and then according to the different aspects of chapters,different heuristic methods are used,including subject-oriented paper review,presentation,discussion,programming,student evaluation etc.The feedback from students and the online evaluation result have shown that these methods are very good for active learning,knowledge expanding and interests building.
