10Gbit/s decision and 1:16 demultiplexing circuit in Si production technology

An integrated circuit consisting of a decision circuit/1:16 demultiplexer was realised for use in 10 Gbit/s SDH/SONET transmission systems. The circuit implements the necessary high speed functions phase detector and decision threshold control as well. It was designed using a state-of-the-art Si bipolar technology with the aim to be used in transmission system products.
