외단열 시스템 적용에 따른 외피 리모델링 후 공동주택 에너지성능 평가

In Korea, the building sector accounts for over 25% of the total national energy consumption, and the energy consumption in residential buildings is about 53% of the total energy consumption in the building sector. So energy saving of residential buildings is all-important to Korea, which lacks energy resources. Thermal insulation plays significant role in energy saving by reduction of heat transfer between indoor and outdoor environment. This study aims to investigate the energy saving by external insulation system for post remodeling in apartment buildings by simulation and field study. The apartment are modeled and simulated by using Design Builder Software. The results of this study indicate that after remodeling condition(external insulation system) can reduce the heating energy consumption about 50% compared with the before remodeling condition. External insulation system can significantly contribute to the improvement in green remodeling activation and energy-efficient buildings.
