The invention discloses a GPS synchronous clock carrier power source, comprising a synchronous clock module, a modulation module, a DC power module, carrier power transmission lines, and N demodulation modules, wherein, the carrier power transmission lines are used for transmitting high-frequency modulation synchronous clock signals; and N is the total number of accessed synchronous measurement and control devices. The GPS synchronous clock carrier power source modulates a synchronous clock signal, such as IPPS pulse per second and UTC time information, output by the synchronous clock module based on a GPS receiver and the DC power into a carrier power with a synchronous clock, and transmits the carrier power with the synchronous clock into various synchronous measurement and control devices in a monitor terminal substation of a power system; the synchronous measurement and control devices obtain high-precision synchronous clock signals and DC power needed in working through the carrier power transmission lines. The GPS synchronous clock carrier power source of the invention can simplify the structure of a field synchronous measurement and control device, leaves out the power module and the GPS receiver, reduces the cost, and can lead the layout of a synchronous measurement and control system in the terminal substation to be more compact, flexible and reasonable.
